Holy shit was that funny. That literally brought tears to my eyes.
I've never heard of these "Funny or Die" people. Who are they?
I'm not even sure I agree with their "point," assuming they have one. I want some form of "nationalization" at this point.
But good funny is good funny.
I'm glad you mentioned, among others, Chuckie "I'm Yucky" Schumer who is now crowing loudly, as part of the Hallelujah chorus, to shut down Citi. Gosh, the reporter asked archly, "Why now, Senator Schumer"
And let's not forget good old Chris Dodd, another stalwart banking industry whore. By the way, Mike, we have nationalization already, but the Federal mofos in charge aren't doing all that they could or should despite having nationalized in all but name. In order to get the skinny I urge you and your readers to peruse the following:

Yeah, I skimmed that piece last night, but I just went back and gave it a more thorough treatment. What a hack by Blinder (nice name, huh?). Defending poor old misunderstood Benny & Timmy.
Ugh.
Check out Blinder's credentials at the end of the NYT piece: Alan S. Blinder is a professor of economics and public affairs at Princeton and former vice chairman of the Federal Reserve. He has advised many Democratic politicians
Princeton prof, former Fed, advisor to Dem politicians, propaganda piece in the NYT. Let me count the ways I want to projectile vomit on that piece.
