KING OF HER OWN HILL
New York's incumbant Junior Senator and Official Un-official Candidate For The Presidency in 2008, Hillary Clinton, reacted swiftly to Joe Lieberman's political hedging, which found him all-but saying he'd run as a Democrat unless it suited him to run as a . . . non-Democrat.
"While I'll support any Democrat who can't challenge me in 2008, I won't support Joe if he decides to run as an independent in November," Clinton told reporters. "Joe needs to understand that there's a cause more important than him. More important than his political aspirations. A collective goal that we all need to support. A larger, more comprehensive policy."
Following her impassioned speech, an unidentified reporter asked her if this unqualified support for the Democratic Party wouldn't prevent swing voters from seeing her as one who support the best interests of the entire nation.
"I'm not sure what you're talking about," Hillary responded harshly. "The bigger goal, the more important cause that I'm talking about isn't the Democratic Party or even the United States."
"Well, Mrs. Clinton," the reporter asked, "what is it then?"
Staring at him, her face a mixture of disappointment and disdain, Clinton answered before stepping down from the podium: "Me."

Nice twist on Hillary...
She did the right thing here, however.
A blind man'll hit the bullseye if you let him throw 1,000 darts.
Of course, he'll take out a few eyes before that point.
