Maybe it's just me, but the Yahoo! News headline writer is either out of his mind with stupidity, or he's having waaaaayyyyyy too much fun lately (I'm laying my dough on the latter). Today's headline:

Gates has been implicated in the deal with the Ayatollah Khomeni to keep the hostages until the end of Jimmy Carter's term of office. There is evidence that he was the man that was sent to make sure that our boys would remain captives in Iran for political purposes.
He is also known to be the guy that worked with Rumsfield to grease the business wheels, to insure that Saddam got everything he needed to make chemical weapons with.
Robert Gates is the perfect neocon for this role. He understands the Middle East, and doesn't mind making people suffer and die, to keep the luchre flowing.
He'll do a great job in keeping the bodies piling up well into 2009.
