love that one in the middle
I liked the swan very much, and the Shanghai picture looks like it was taken at Yuyuan Gardens. My wife and I probably took a hundred shots between the two of us there one afternoon in 2004.
Working as hard as you seem to have to do at the new job, Mike, surely beats the snark out of one. It's kind of like getting a double play while giving up two runs....
I like the Shanghai photo.
For the Shanghai photo, it's not the down town of Shanghai, actually, it's a place near Shanghai.
Charles, is that the same place as the Yuyuan Gardens that Generik refers to?
No, it's not yuyuan garden, yuyuan garden has no spaces for boats. Around Shanghai, there are several ancient towns like that in the picture, like zhujiajiao, xitang, zhouzhuang, all these places have water, boats, bridges. And the movie 'mission impossible 3' was taken in xitang. If you have time, you're welcome to visit Shanghai to see all these towns. :-)
