You're not a Baseball Prospectus reader? Will Carroll does their Under the Knife column but also has been writing about the gyro ball for years--and supposedly teaches it.

I've read their stuff many times, but I'm not up on many of their names. I knew Carroll's name was familiar, but I couldn't have placed it for the life of me.
I found a good one for IMG_430.
Very poignant here in 'Sox land, where the anticipation for the baseball season is building, and all the people in the know are wearing this.
